What hours are you open?
We have no formal opening hours, but usually operate between the hours of 8am and 10pm. If you require us to work outside of these time, please call us on 0800 680 0724 to arrange a time.  
How much does it cost?
Our standard service is £35 for the first hour, then we charge in blocks of 30 minutes at £17.50 each. Our emergency call out rate is �50 for the first hour, then our standard fee thereafter.
What area do you cover? What is the call out fee?
We cover the whole of Kent. Our current free call out area is listed on our "Areas Covered" page, which includes Maidstone, Canterbury, Herne Bay, Ashford, Whistable, Sittingbourne and Faversham. Outside of this area is £50 for the first hour, and our standard fee thereafter.
Can you set up my wireless/wired network?
Of course! Just call us to arrange a time.
My computer is completely dead. Is it worth fixing?
We will investigate what the problem is and advise you on the best course of action. Sometimes only a simple component needs replacing.
I have been told I have to format my hard drive/reinstall windows. Is there another way?
Sort My PC Out uses state of the art software that has only just become available in the UK. It uses a database of over 4 million back up files to replace files on your computer that need fixing. This service costs £25, and if it doesn't fix your problem, we won't charge you for it! This is generally a better option than a format and reinstall as this can be a long process and you may lose important data.
Can you fix my computer without visiting my house?
With our state of the art remote connection software, we are able to fix many PC problems without visiting your home. Note: Your PC must be able to connect to the internet.
I want to buy a new computer, but have no idea where to start!
We have an enormous experience of the marketplace and are able to talk through your requirements and then guide you through the process of selecting the correct pc for you.
How can I pay?
We take all major credit and debit card, cheques, PayPal and cash. Payment is due on completion of work. If you are a business, we can  invoice you with a 14 day payment agreement.
How long will the repair take?
There is no simple answer but most simple items can be completed in an hour. The longest job is to backup the PC and reformat it from scratch. This would normally take 3 - 4 hours.
Do you support MAC?
Unfortunately, at this time we are only able to support PC problems.
Do you offer training?
We are able to offer training on either a one to one or one to many basis. Please get in contact with your requirement. We have experience training people/businesses/schools how to use Microsoft Windows, Microsoft Office, Adobe Photoshop, Steinberg Cubase and many other software suites.
I have a tight budget. Can you help?
We will never undertake a big project without first informing you of the likely costs. Our rates are extremely competitive at just £35 for the first hour, and £17.50 per half hour thereafter.
